How to install a skate mod with ReSkate

Installing a skate mod takes under a minute once ReSkate is installed. The launcher is the easiest route, and manual installs work too.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to the MODS page.
  2. Browse Thunderstore, or drag a mod's .zip or folder onto the window.
  3. A mod that depends on others brings those dependencies with it.
  4. In game, press Insert and open the MODS tab to toggle mods.

Choosing safe, compatible skate mods

ReSkate checks every mod against the supported game build and skips anything outdated or unmergeable, naming it in the launcher. Sorting by downloads and likes is a good first filter, because popular skate mods have been tested by many players.

  • Prefer mods with many downloads, recent updates and a clear description.
  • Never run unknown .dll or .exe files shipped inside a mod.
  • Custom Lua scripts are switched off in the current ReSkate version.
