What's new in ReSkate v2.1.2
- Mods can run code now: a mod can include a Lua plugin that adds game modes, HUDs, menu pages, console commands and more, without changing ReSkate itself.
- Safe by design: each plugin runs in its own sandbox.
- A page for each plugin: plugins that have settings get their own page under PLUGINS in the ReSkate menu (Insert).
- For creators: a plugin reloads by itself when you save its files, once you're back in the game window.
- Servers run plugins too: game modes and rules can run on a dedicated server.
- Cards, polls and parks: server plugins can show players cards, ask them polls, and spawn or remove the server's park mods.
Which ReSkate files do you need?
Each release contains a few packages. Most players only need the first one, which is the button at the top of this page.

After you download ReSkate
- Extract the launcher and DLL into a new, empty folder, for example
C:\Games\ReSkate. Do not use Steam's skate. folder. - Run
ReSkateLauncher.exeand sign in to Steam when asked. It then installs the supported game build. - Press PLAY, then open the menu with Insert.
- Browse free mods and install them from the launcher's MODS page.

Download safely
Only download ReSkate from this page or the official GitHub releases. Never give your Steam password to a website or tool other than the Steam sign-in shown by the launcher.
Because ReSkate loads a DLL into the game, some antivirus tools raise alerts. That is a known side effect of the technique, not proof of malware. Read our safety guide and review or build the source code yourself if you want to be sure.
